A buddy and I were discussing the post-game celebration in Memphis on Sunday when he mentioned how almost sad Marcus Ginyard looked. Not selfish, I-wanted-us-to-lose sad, but happy-for-my-teammates-but-I-wish-I-could-help sad. I told him I was planning to write something for The Blue Team this week on the nearly forgotten Tar Heel, but it looks like I won't have to. Adam Lucas, the fantastic editor of Tar Heel Monthly and writer on TarHeelBlue.com (and contributor to all things Carolina) will apparently have this covered later on this week. I'm glad because I know it will be well worth the read, especially since he can talk to Marcus, his teammates, and his family about everything. I'll link to it on The Blue Team as well. Plus, it will save me a night of writing on this blog. A night I can now spend, instead, watching the 1982, 1993, and 2005 National Championship games. After all, those are my favorite movies.

Saved Me Some Work
